After a long and extensive R&D period Corally is proud to introduce the all new RDX. Top drivers Sakke and Simo Ahoniemi have first showed its performance by making top 10 positions at the recent 2004 European Championships. Chris Tosolini will race the RDX in the US. 
The all new features include:
● Ultra low centre of gravity.
● Super narrow 3mm chassis with semi cut motor position for maximum stiffness.
● Chassis mounted steering levers.
● Lower roll centre adjustment possibility.
● 2-Belt drive system with aluminium pulleys and spur gear adapter.
● Lightweight rear differential.
● Lightweight front 1-way with hardened aluminium outdrives.
● Double supported layshaft between both bulkheads
● Composite reinforced short wishbones.
● Motormount integrated with rear left bulkhead.
● Separate bodypostplate.
● Rear shocks positioned in front of the wishbones for even better weight balance.
● Wheel base extended by 7mm.

RDX Steering Lever Set for use with shorter balljoints

The design of the RDX Steering Lever Set has been improved for the use of the shorter duraluminium balljoints (#79261). All M3 holes are threaded to allow the use of new shorter duraluminium balljoints. No more nuts required. Optimized design for center steering system.

RDX duraluminium wishbone

The RDX duraluminium wishbone has gotten a new model. The new anti roll bars can be mounted and there is no need of the rear shock extensions.

MOTOR GUARD AND FAN

 The new RDX motor guard protects the motor against impacts in racing incidents. It also allows mounting of the new high performance 30mm Cooling Fan. The fan features increased output and operates on 5 – 6 volts. It can be easily connected through the installed universal receiver plug. Both items are separately available or as a complete kit.

RDX DIFF SCREWS – IMPROVED DESIGN

The RDX Diff Screws have been improved in both material and design. These new screws are made of hardened carbon steel. The thrust bearing runs on a bigger non-threaded surface for true and ultra smooth diff action. These diff screws allow external adjustments (no disassembly required).

DURAL STEERING BLOCKS WITH BUSHINGS

 The RDX steering blocks are now also available with precision brass bushings. These 3 x 6 x 2 mm bushings run ultra smooth with minimum play and offer super durability. They are also separately available as a replacement for the ball bearings.

RDX Chassis (#79339A) and Battery Strap (#79363A)
 The new GP3700 cells have a slightly bigger diameter. The new RDX chassis and battery straps come prepared to perfectly fit these bigger cells. The slots in the chassis are a little bigger and the battery strap is longer. They cannot be mixed with older RDX chassis or battery straps. All currently produced RDX kits come with these new parts. The new battery straps can be easily recognised by the RDX logo.

Please note: also the older RDX chassis and battery straps can be used in combination with GP3700 cells. But with these it is required to reduce the diameter of the battery strap posts and a 3mm washer should be placed under them.
